Deputy U.S. Attorney General Todd Blanche told top California leaders that they would be prosecuted if they arrested federal agents performing immigration raids.
Amid reports of ICE raids planned for the Bay Area, Pelosi and Rep. Kevin Mullin (D-Calif.) issued a joint statement claiming that California law "prevents federal agents from taking certain actions" and suggesting local cops could "arrest" ICE agents.
