A 29-year-old woman was pronounced dead early Tuesday morning after being dropped off at Jackson Park Community Hospital on the South Side, Chicago police said. Shortly after 3:10 a.m., a woman with multiple injuries was dropped off at Jackson Park Hospital in the 7500 block of Stony Island Avenue. She was pronounced dead a short time later, police said. The incident was classified as a homicide, Police were speaking to a person of interest.

A 46-year-old man was pronounced dead after he was beaten Friday night in the Austin neighborhood, Chicago police said. Shortly after 10:45 p.m., the victim and a 39-year-old woman were involved in a fight with when two males approached in the 5400 block of West Congress Parkway. The males began to battered the 46-year-old man before fleeing the scene, police said.
