The Senate on Monday passed a bill that will fund the government through Jan. 30. It now goes to the House where a vote could come as early as Wednesday.
House Speaker Mike Johnson spoke Monday morning about next steps in ending the government shutdown, saying he will call the House back as soon as the Senate passes a government funding bill.
