Lots of companies offer permanent holiday lights these days, and I've evaluated many of them, but Enbrighten's product remains my favorite. For starters, they're the easiest to install, needing just one screw per light. And that screw gets hidden when you pop each LED puck into its socket. And during Prime Day, you can grab a 100-foot string for 24% off MSRP or $189. Amazon is also offering slightly smaller discounts on the 50-foot string (19% off, or $130) and the 150-foot string (16% off, or $294).
Enbrighten uses RGBWIC LEDs, meaning each puck on the cable has red, green, blue, and white diodes capable of glowing in 16 million colors, plus white light that you can tune to specific color temperatures, ranging from a warm 2200 Kelvin to a daylight equivalent 6500K.

When it introduced its new Dirigera smart hub back in 2022, Ikea promised that it would support Matter within a matter of months. Months did indeed pass, then more months. More than a year later, Ikea confirmed what was already obvious: it was delaying the Dirgera's Matter update, as the company needed "more development time to secure good functionality."
Then several more months passed, until Ikea finally released the Dirigera's Matter update into beta testing—and even then, the Dirigera's Matter support only went as far as bridging Ikea's smart products into existing Matter networks.
But in recent weeks, there were hints that Ikea was finally getting serious about Matter. While Ikea's Matter support was initially limited to Matter-over-Wi-Fi, a few leaked products suggested that Ikea might embrace Thread, the low-power, mesh-networking wireless protocol that underpins the Matter standard.
Then, late last week, the other shoe dropped: Ikea released an update for the Dirigera that

That's the price for both the black and white models, but if you don't mind the rose version, you can get it for $75.05, a 25 percent discount. Either way, you're winning because this is a fantastic keyboard.
While I personally have the MX Keys S, the Mini offers similar quality if you don't need a full keyboard. It's incredibly quiet when you type, the keys "hug" your fingertips, and it's simply a comfortable model to use throughout the day.
The keyboard comes with smart backlighting that will adjust to your room's brightness. From personal experience, I wouldn't recommend the white keyboard if you plan to rely heavily on that lighting, as it's less effective in some environments.
You'll charge the keyboard every couple of weeks via USB-C, which is very convenient. You can use Logitech's software to customize key mapping. The keyboard also connects to three different devices, making it easy to switch between them.
If you'd rather get the full MX Keys S, there's a 20 percent discount for the black model as well, bringing the price down to $104.49 from $130.
Don't miss out on this Prime Day deal on the MX Keys Mini-it's a fantastic price for such a quiet keyboard. Also, be sure to check out the best Prime Day tech deals

Apple has been refining Liquid Glass during the developer beta testing process, and both beta two and beta three have introduced some major tweaks. There was little outcry over the updates that Apple made in the second beta, but the third beta's design updates have frustrated some users who feel that Apple is removing too much of the Liquid Glass aesthetic.

Amazon this week has Apple's AirTag 4-Pack for $64.99, down from $99.00. This beats the previous all-time low price by about $3, and it's one of the all-around best discounts during Prime Day.

One solution is to run AI applications locally. However, this requires the computer or laptop to have the right amount of processing power. There's also an increasing number of standard applications that rely on AI now. But if a laptop's hardware is optimized for the use of AI, you can work faster and more effectively with AI applications.
Working with local AI applications makes sense
Running AI applications locally not only reduces dependency on external platforms, but it also creates a reliable basis for data protection, data sovereignty, and reliability. Especially in small companies with sensitive customer information or in private households with personal data, the local use of AI increases trust. Local AI remains usable even if internet services are disrupted or the cloud provider has technical problems.
The reaction speed improves significantly as computing processes are not slowed down by latency times. This enables the use of AI models in r
