The body of Pope Francis was displayed in the chapel of the Domus Santa Marta hotel in Vatican City after his death at the age of 88. Francis was shown in a wooden casket, in red vestments and his bishop's miter.
His death ends a historic chapter for the Catholic Church. The first Latin American pope, he opened the doors of his faith to "everyone, everyone, everyone."
