The projected salary cap under the pending WNBA collective bargaining agreement is set to exceed $10 million by the end of the agreement, sources told ESPN on Wednesday.
After a prolonged labor battle, the WNBA and players' union have reached a verbal agreement on the terms for a new CBA. Sources told ESPN that the salary cap will start at $7 million and raise the average salary to around $600,000.
