The story of CEOExpress and its editor:

In 1996, Patricia Pomerleau founded AlphaSight Online Strategists, a consulting company focused on helping senior executives understand and utilize the Internet for strategic advantage. She quickly realized that many executives were uncomfortable with technology and did not clearly understand the vast potential of the Internet. For most of her clients, the Net seemed too overwhelming and time consuming to be worthwhile.

Out of this experience, she created CEOExpress as a tool to help her clients quickly grasp the utility of the Internet and the opportunities it presented to them. This Web tool has evolved significantly over its first year and now attracts over 75,000 visits a day. Word of mouth alone has made CEOExpress one of the most popular web sites for business executives.

In 1998, AlphaSight merged into a new company, CEOExpress Company, an entity dedicated to helping various professional groups such as senior executives, save time and get more out of the Internet. CEOExpress.com, the first of these offerings, is now in its fifth version with many features added such as email, stock portfolio, research center and full customization ability. CEOExpressSelect^sm, the premium subscription offering, includes valuable features such as customized news, a comprehensive financial center, VIP Live Assistant Services, a fully customizable desktop and much more. The 4th quarter of 2002 brought the announcement of a whole new set of technology products geared to the Intranet and Extranet markets. Prior to doing business on the Internet, Patricia was the executive vice president of South Shore Hospital in Weymouth, Massachusetts and has also served in senior executive positions in New York and Vermont hospitals. Her expertise encompasses industries from finance and insurance to healthcare, where she is recognized as an authority on the impact of emerging technologies on the future of American healthcare.

Patricia is a highly regarded speaker and presenter at major industry, university and business events on topics ranging from "Technology and Corporate Culture" to "Trends in Internet Commerce."

She has served on the Board of Directors of Bradlees, Inc. and is a partner of P.F. Partnership, a commercial and residential real estate firm with holdings in Vermont and New York State. Patricia is a member of the Georgetown University Board of Governors where she serves as Chairperson of the Technology Committee and a member of Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society.

Pomerleau holds an MS from Boston University and BS from Georgetown University.
