The head of McKinsey's Indian offices addresses some of the more common questions.The country's noisy democracy obscures a stable economy. Reforms begun in 1991, backed by the country's major political parties, are irreversible.Although the government wants the country to receive more foreign direct investment, measures are needed to open the taps fully.Companies shouldn't feel forced to choose between India and China. They should engage both, taking advantage of the strengths and opportunities of each.
