Protecting intellectual property in China Despite new intellectual-property legislation, multinational companies doing business in China will need more than legal measures to protect their IP.We found that the best companies go further and consider IP protection when making operational and strategic decisions.A well-rounded IP protection plan can prevent some IP theft and mitigate the damage after theft occurs. Those who create a culture of IP awareness can expect lower litigation costs and better long-term results.
